This course provides an overview of tis designed for professionals who want to adopt ITIL to improve service management. In this course, you will gain the knowledge needed to pass the ITIL 4 Foundation Certification exam, learn about the end-to-end IT/digital operating model, and use the ITIL 4 model to create, deliver, and continuously improve tech-enabled products and services.
You will also explore the service value chain and IT service management practices, identify opportunities to develop IT practices using ITIL guidelines, and recognize the importance of IT and business integration. The ITIL® 4 Foundation qualification is suitable for IT executives, IT architects, operations managers, IT audit managers, IT planners and consultants, database administrators, ITSM trainers, service delivery professionals, quality analysts, application management and development teams, and IT managers. As the foundation qualification, no prior experience is required.
This is a self-directed distance-learning course.
All modules will include supporting materials which you’ll use on a step-by-step basis to help get you ready to take the ITIL® 4 Foundation examination.
You’ll also have access to the learner forum to ask questions, receive answers from the tutor and see what other learners have asked.
The Foundation certification is one of the prerequisites to qualify for the Practice Manager qualification, or any one of the ITIL Specializations.

Exam vouchers are valid for 12 months so you can take them at a time and day that is convenient to you but, we do recommend taking the exam during the week of your course if possible as pass rates are typically higher.
NOTE: Candidates taking the exam in a language that is not their native or working language may be awarded 25% extra time, i.e. 75 minutes in total.
